Medina, which is one of the most sacred and important cities of Islam and known as Yesrib with its former name, continues to exist as a strategically important city of the Hejaz region since the day it was founded. In the middle of the Arabian Peninsula, the transformation of the Yesrib into Medina, which is close to the Red Sea, needs to be well known in order to better understand the religion and the period in which the Muslim community begins to form. Because, even though the Islamic religion was arised in Mecca, Medina, the most important city in the region, had an important role in the development of socio-cultural life, from belief to worship, from politics to administration.
