Farîduddîn Attâr wrote prose Tadhkirat al-Awliyâ in the Persian language in 1220. The Tadhkirat al-Awliyâ generated great interest and was, eventually, translated into Turkish. The principal objective of the present article is to identify and correct inaccurate statements and beliefs, both in library catalogs and academic studies, about the translations and interpretations of Tadhkirat al-Awliyâ. To achive this, the majority of copies of the work were studied in the libraries. With reference to studies on the subject, about the Tadhkirat al-Awliyâ’s translation were corrected what the information do not reflect reality.
