Zara district of the Sivas province is known as one of the major weaving centers that contribute to the Anatolian weaving culture. The weaving culture of the district came to present situation by developing under the influence of the Seljuk. The wall carpets in the Becekli village have motif features of geometric characteristics of Seljuk carpets. The purpose of this research is to investigate wall carpets in terms of motifs, composition and color in Becekli village of Zara district in Sivas province, and also to give information about the carpet weaving culture of the region, to contribute to the researches in this scope by documenting the obtained samples. Within the scope of literature surveys about Sivas carpet weaving, the importance of the province in the art of weaving is mentioned. Within the scope of literature reviews, the similarities between the Sivas carpet weaving and Central Asian Turkmen Carpet were found. For thepurpose of identi cation and investigation of samples in its own place, verbal interviews were made with the women with the carpet in the village and others who moved to Istanbul. So, in the scope of the research photographs of the wall carpets were taken, the purpose of weaved products, weaving circumstances, the measure of carpets, used fibers, and the color that used in dying, also the name of the used motifs and composition properties of the wall carpets were held
