From past to present, women and men have shown many positive and negative transformations in sociological, cultural, political, economic and religious functions within the social structure. In addition to positive aspects such as motherhood, leadership, and charity in the role of woman in the creation myth, the same woman's sexual discrimination is the main character, untrustworthiness and jealousy, negative thoughts in the perception of women in popular beliefs and primitive perceptions in women in media. On the basis of the difference between men and women, the need for creation is seen as a physiological difference. This difference also affects the social status of the woman. The attitude towards the woman has become firmer and softer with the everyday beliefs evolving from the past. However, the woman in archaic society can sometimes be seen to have a more important role and blessing from the woman in modern society. In addition to gender disparity, the changing statistic has also revealed differences in the perception of women and men and has led to gender discrimination. In this study, the differences in the way that women are perceived from the mythological period are investigated in socio-cultural terms. It has been tried to determine women's existence in the context of popular beliefs and media culture with epics of oral cultural products and to detect transformation and identity perception from the creation myth to modern time.
