DUALISM IN CLASSICAL TURKISH LITERATURE

Abstract

Author(s): Saadet KARAKÖSE

The duality refers to the harmony of interrelated contrasts in nature. Philosophy is a teaching based on the opposing opposites. The root of the dualism in the belief system is the verses and hadiths. In the Qur'an, "We shall make the day from the night, and the night from the day" is the sign of the duoton on the table. Again, the verse "in what you know the best, tehere is in bad" is also a sign of the living dual. The Sufi faith in our literature is the understanding of all the contrasts, the mysticism that seeks the healty problem, the grief sorrow, the drop of sea, the life is in die. This statement will focus on the duality of our literature.
