Cinema is one of the most effective means of conveying economic, political and cultural phenomena and their transformations to society. In Turkey, changes in economic, political, cultural and social conjuncture has transformed the society and this transformation has been the subject of movies. In addition, there were differences in the film topics in parallel with these transformations. In this study economic, political and cultural transformations of Turkey and their different reflections on Turkish cinema.
