Index of Kutadgu Bilig which is one of the most important works of our history of civilization, has been examined by many researchers. In this study, based on the idea of re-evaluation of some words in the current index of Kutadgu Bilig “a?ru, çok, köp, tük” this words were examined. “A?ru ” word in the current directory “excessive, too” as the given contextual plane “more in terms of value, well, extreme” meaning of “çok ” words in current directory “a lot ” as the given contextual plane “number of terms a lot less anti ” meaning of “köp ” word in the current folder to as the given contextual plane excessively, widely in amount “tük ” sporadic “word in the current directory” very, much, at rather 'shaped in given contextual plane “hundreds of thousands” was determined to have the meanings . Thus, both the contribution to the index and the meaning changes of each word in both abstract and concrete context are presented. Located in the framework of the Kutadgu Bilig contextual meaning “a?ru, çok, köp, tük” how they are installed outside the meanings given in word meanings and functions of the directory have been explained with verses that mention the word.
