In our study, we are looking for the answer of ‘Is it possible to update both the subjects and images of Karagöz’. We are considering that from the Turkish Shadow play, modern people can draw benefit from the subjects they come across more such as health, education, law, traffic , environmet, cleanliness and family. Nowadays, the tradition of Karagöz play which is trying to be made come alive in ramadans, circumcision feast and schools can draw more benefit in education.However it must be made new images for these new plays. Computers can be beneficial for making these images. Karagöz shadow play must be performed on a white curtain. However, it can be on TV in order to introduce and make children love the play.
