TRANSLATION AS INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION AND CULTURAL COMPETENCE

This paper deals with the translation phenomenon as a cultural transfer. We try to show the importance of the translation factor in this globalized world and to show how much the translation occupies the important place in people’s daily life. Acctualy transalation factor was exicted in all eras of the time and we can say that it was a kind of the bridge between the people of the different origins. This article is to demonstrate professional translation of an interpreter, referring to the process of translation and will respond with one of the elements required to have an important cultural competence. Culture and Language are completing each other. We cannot separate language and culture. They have a special bound between. We cannot forget about the translation process nowadays, translation plays a major role as a medium of communication over the global world. Translation plays an important role in the global news. Translator should be a kind of cultural expert. The revival of traditions and customs of different cultures come out by the help of translation.
