THE TOURISM POLICY OF EUROPEAN UNION AND AN EVALUATION ABOUT TOURISM STRATEGY 2023 OF TURKEY

The aim of this study is to examine the Tourism Strategy 2023 of Turkey in the perspective of Tourism Policy of EU. It has been aimed to determine the factors that affect the tourism policy of EU and to reveal the reflection of these factors on the strategy paper. For this concept, the related literature has been scanned and the factors which affect the tourism in EU are found out and the reflections of these factors in strategic files have been shown. As a result of this study, the strong points of the document are continuity, sn eco-friendly perception and the strategies to vary the tourism and extend it to the whole year; the weak points are not mentioning the necesstiy to supports SMEs and not being focused on the protection of the rights of tourists as customers. It is undoubtedly that the paper will strengthen the determination and working of applicable aims with an accurate planning to the EU.
