This study argues that AOÇ is not only an agricultural production farm for Ankara but also has a strong meaning and spatial relationship for the city of Ankara. The administrative structure of AOÇ, which was transformed by the influence of political authority, changed the production policies within the effects of global and local influences, its meaning for Ankara and its spatial relationship with the city. In the first quarter of the 21st century, the potentials, boundaries and constraints of AOÇ for Ankara were discussed within the framework of urban and spatial relations.
