The present study aims at setting forth the social and economic structure of Evciler village in State of Hüdavendigar, Kütahya District, Dazk?r? town in the year 1260– 1261 (Hijri)/1844–1845 (Gregorian) making use of the temettiat register numbered 7704. The people living in this village live on agriculture and animal husbandry. In the period studied, wheat, barley, melaz, vetch, and opium would be grown, and cattle, sheep, goats, pack animals and mounts would be raised in the mentioned village. Besides these, shipping was another distinctive job done by the villagers. Also, there were carpenters, coachmen, servants and shepherds. Moreover, agriculture and animal breeding incomes and salaries were presented in this study. Later, private taxes and tithe were studied and their tax charges were calculated.
