THE ROLE OF OMAR FAIG NEMANZADEH IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF COMMON TURKIC LANGUAGE

Abstract

Author(s): Omar Faig Nemanzadeh, common Turkic language, Turkish ideology, linguistics views.

The beginnings of XX th century were the periods full of complex struggles of Azerbaijan-Turkic languages. To study the development of the literary language in this period enables to reveal the ancient times of the literary language history. The creation of XX century intellectuals is the most reliable source to study the history of the Azerbaijan Turkic language. In this period all the intellectuals were the first to struggle for the Turkic language. O. Nemanzadeh also holds a special place among those intellectuals like A. Husseynzadeh, A. Agaoglu, A. Afandizadeh, S. Agamali A. Hagverdiyev, F. Kocharli who struggled for the purity of Turkic language. He also was engaged in different problems of linguistics and scientific–theoretical views in the determination of literary language norms like other linguists. These facts show that O. Nemanzadeh was not only a press representative , but also a linguistturkologist.
