Music is indispensable for human life. People live with music in their daily lives. The therapeutic use of music is as old as human history. Music is an effective tool in revealing emotions. Therefore, its therapeutic effect is also inevitable. Music Therapy is used today as a scientific method in hospitals, clinics and schools. Studies on the field are increasing as its impact is seen. In our country, there are almost no institutions with applied Music Therapy. Studies for university students are also rare. For this purpose, 4 sessions of Music Therapy were studied in the workshop titled Let's Meet Music Therapy with 9 students at Yildiz Technical University. In these sessions, examples of Active and Passive Music Therapy studies are presented as well as theoretical definitions. In the study conducted with the group, an Inventory was used to measure the Trait Anxiety Status of the students. Blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen levels in the blood were also measured to measure the physiological conditions of the students. The results of both measurements showed that physical stress and anxiety levels were dropped but as the numbers of the students were very low, no significant difference was found statistically . The reason for this is the low number of students. It has been stated that if the studies in the field are increased, different results will be obtained.
