In this research, Niyâzî-i M?srî’s understanding of religiosity is examined. Niyâzî-i M?srî is a thinker who tries to base his understanding of religiosity on the basis of monotheism. According to him, the real source of piety is faith. M?srî, couplets also value true faith. He also explained his ideas in accordance with the basic principles of the Islamic religion, the Qur'an and the Sunnah. As a matter of fact, his understanding of religiosity is based on five basic principles of Islam. In addition to acting on these five basic principles, M?srî also tried to reach the truth by going down to the essence of these principles. Misrî argues that prayer has a very important place in religion because of the Shari'a science which forms the basis of Islam and that it should be performed as a community. He also mentioned in the couplets, prophets; especially He attributes Hz. Muhammad a distinct love and respect. According to the Prophet. Hz. Muhammad's morality must be followed and loved by all people. M?srî, in the couplet by mentioning other prophets Hz. Abraham mentions that the prophet was thrown into the fire. M?srî also emphasizes the importance of the Qur'an and emphasizes its correct understanding. Based on the verses of M?srî, it is concluded that our of study on religious understanding is worthy of research in terms of psychology of religion.
