THE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND CREATIVITY: A STUDY ON UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

In this study, the main objective is to determine the relationship between the level of emotional intelligence and creativity of university students. In addition, the relationship between the demographic characteristics and personal features of the students and the levels of emotional intelligence and creativity have been examined. The study was carried out on 393 students attending Alaaddin Keykubat University Altso Tourism Vocational School in Alanya and collected through the questionnaire survey. In the research, descriptive research techniques have been used as quantitative research methods. As a result of the research; it was found that there was a statistically significant relationship between emotional intelligence levels and creativity levels of students and emotional intelligence levels and creativity levels of students were at a high level. It was also found that the levels of emotional intelligence and creativity of the students differed statistically from each other according to various demographic characteristics.
