The relation of burnout syndrome with organizational commitment and turnover intention was researched in this study. This research suggests that physical and mental burnout throughout the time is inevitable for the employees who work under high stress in the banking sector, which is a major part of services sector and in which human relations are experienced quite intensively. The research was based on the thought that organizational commitment of bank employees will decrease with the burnout feeling experienced thus resulting in an increase in turnover intention. In accordance with this thought, relations were determined between the dimensions of burnout syndrome, namely emotional burnout, desensitization, and decrease in self competency feeling and emotional commitment, attendance commitment, normative commitment, and turnover intention.
