THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ORGANIZATIONAL CYNICISM AND ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT: A RESEARCH ON THE EMPLOYESS KONYA METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY TECHNICAL WORKS DEPARTMENT

Main purpose of this research is;detecting the relationship between organizational cynicism and organizational commitment. The basic meaning of organizational cynicism is someone's negative attitudes towards institution he/she is working at. The organizational cynicism was analyzed in three subdimensions as cognitive,affective and behavioral dimension. The organizational commitment,one of the variables the organizational cynicism affected most is that the person's sense of belonging to her/his working institution.The organizational commitment was analyzed in three subdimensions as emotional,continued and normative commitment. The universe of research consists of the employess at Konya Metropolitan Municipality Technical Works Department. Within these informations,as we had the chance of reaching complete sample size,sampling wasn't detected. Datas and informations were collected via questionnaire technique. “SPSS for Windows 22,0” programme and various analyzing techniques were used in collected datas.In research it was detected that there is a negative meaningful retationship between the organizational cynicism and the organizational commitment of workers. While workers' cynicism attitudes were affecting their organizational commitment negatively,increasing organizational commitment was lowering the level of organizational cynicism.
