THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LEARNING DISABILITY AND THEORY OF MIND

In this article, the relationship between “theory of mind” and learning disability has been mentioned. It includes the researches on theory of mind skills of individuals with learning disability and consists of suggesstion and limitations. “Learning Disability”, “ Theory of Mind”, “Emotion Recognition”, “face expressions” and the other terms in theory of mind had been searched in Eric, Ebsco Host, Wiley Interscience, Sage Online, Springer Link, Taylor&Francis, Oxford search engines. In this search 15 article was found. Additionally, other sources were used in order to form this article. Since the main purpose of this article is to give a general aspect, this article has no significance in historical, comperative or discriptive perspectives. A limited number of sources and conflicting results were found in the field of learning disability and the connection of theory of mind. However, it seems that this issue is becoming more and more important for researchers.
