While the vibration of an item and its source location information transported to the ear originates a spatial sound consciousness for a human being, some concepts used for music or music technology such as style, instrument placement, stereo and surround consist of an evaluation period that this consciousness have to be reflected to music and music technology for a long time in history. This evaluation that impacts upon, increasingly, not only music and music technology but also a society is an important research material for social sciences. The purpose of this paper is to present some examples of the studies about spatial sound in music and music technology in order to point out how the spatial sound consciousness of human reflects to music and music technology. In these examples, both the rising number of chorus, organ, the distribution of these elements inside of a space and some concepts such as mono, stereo, surround show us that spatial sound consciousness of human has absolutely reflected to music and music technology.
