THE POST METHOD ERA PEDAGOGY IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHIN

Being in search of trying to find out the best way in teaching foreign language gets a different dimension with the perception of the post method era that has been hotly debated tendency recently. It is assumed that the outcomes of the discussions between the researchers who claim to continue using the methods in foreign language teaching and the others that support the perception of the post method era with the suggestion that the method era has came to an end and so new ways alternative to methods is needed may contribute to the literature of foreign language teaching. In this context, the aim of the study is to discover the aspects for the dilemma between the methods era and the post method era in foreign language teaching by describing the relationship between the mentioned two opposite views. Within this framework, the interaction between the two different processes will be reviewed by addressing the methods era and the post method era in foreign language teaching
