The literary studies concentrated heavily on the theoretical works, especially in the 20th century, and these works put forward then and also use now non-normative concepts which can have a wide array of definitions. Besides semantic changes and transformations of a language’s own structure the variations within the social, cultural, political and scientific paradigms can also be seen as the factors that led to this diversity. Finally, this state of affairs necessitates the emergence of a certain indispensable systematization with the purpose of analyzing a text or - put in a more modern way – a discourse as the object of the literature. One of the goals of this study is while focusing on the phenomenon of “Linguistic Turn” to categorize several Literature Studies’ theories and also to show pragmatic perspective of a common axis inherent to all those theories that emerged after this epistomological shift.
