In this research, it is aimed to define the opinions of teachers in different career steps in primary and secondary schools about the effects of the career step application on schools. In the research designed with phenomenology study, which is a qualitative research method, the data were gained through semi-structured interview form; and analyzed by content analysis technique. The study group consists of 6 expert teachers, 6 teachers and 6 trainee teachers, 18 in total, who works in primary and secondary schools in the Tokat city center and accepted voluntarily to participate in the study. The findings of the interview were discussed in accordance with the purpose of the study and within the context of the literature.
