THE MEDIATING ROLE OF TRAIT ANXIETY IN THE IMPACT OF JOB INSECURITY ON PRESENTEEISM: A STUDY IN HOSPITALITY BUSINESSES

This study investigates the mediating role of trait anxiety in the impact of job insecurity on presenteeism. The population of the study is constituted by the workers who work in 4 and 5 star hotels and boutique hotels in Nev?ehir province. According to the findings of the study, it was presented that job insecurity has a positive impact on presenteeism and trait anxiety. It was also determined that trait anxiety has a full mediating role in the relationship between job insecurity and presenteeism. Lastly, as a result of extensive literature search and application, some suggestions were made for executives and employees.
