THE LITERARY ART HUSN-I TALIL IN SELIKIS POEMS

Selîkî is 16th century classical Turkish poets. He is from Isparta, in other words he is from Hamid ?li. During his period, he has gained a great reputation as a poet. Some books about the time he lived, such as tezkire, books of history and biography gave information about the Selîkî’s life, personality of literary and his work. Selîkî studied in the madrasa and served as “kad?”. There are varieties of information related to his death. According to sources, together with his family, in Deliorman district, he killed by thieves. According to sources, Selîkî has a full book of poetry as “divan”. He also says that some of the poems have a divan. However, we do not have his divan. We have some his poems written in verse forms such as eulogy, ode, musammat. These poems were collected magazines of poetry.

Selîkî's poems describe the general issues of classical Turkish literature. He described in his poems: agonies of love, the pain of separation, the unique beauty of the beloved, the relationship between lover-beloved and rakib, wine and taverns motifs. He described some of his poems depths of Sufism, the concepts of unity and pluralism. His mystical poems written symbols, we can understand that he has a good knowledge of religious mysticism.

This study examined the content Selîkî’s poems. These poems are evaluated aspect of using the literary art hüsn-i ta'lil. What does mean hüsn-i ta’lil? It means finding poetry poetic reason. The poet asserts that the real reason of an event, rather than an aesthetic purpose, the imaginary, and suggests that a good reason. This fictitious pretext completely concerned with the poet's mastery of the art of poetry. Examined in these poems, Selîkî successfully used with hüsn-i ta'lil art, with examples of the art of poetry has implemented the original. In this respect, Selîkî is a master poet of classical Turkish poetry gives new images. Biographical works, telling him that emphasizes it.
