Thisstudyfocusesone of thecrucialissuesnamed as workaholismbecoming a greatconcern in contemporarywork life. It is considered as a powerfulinstrinsiccompulsiontowardswork. It is notewortytostudyworkaholism since thenumber of studiesconcerningitsresultsandeffectsarelimited in Turkey. Theaim of thestudy is topointouttherelationshipbetweenworkaholism, workstressand life satisfactionbyapplyingstructuralequation model. As theexcessiveworkloadandlongworkinghoursexsist in privatesector, it is notedthatemployeeswork in privatesectorexperienceworkaholismmorethanemployeesworking in publicsector. Therefore, thesurveyconducted on 275 lawyersruntheirownbusiness in Mu?la city. As a result apositiverelationshipbetweenworkaholismand life satisfactionwasfound, thesamecorrelationbetweenworkaholsimandwork stres wasalsodeterminedto. It is consideredthatmoreresearch in thesevariablesmightunveiltherelationsmoreclearly.
