THE IMPACT OF PERSON – ORGANIZATION FIT ON ORGANIZATIONAL CYNICISM: SAMPLE OF CIVIL SERVANTS

In this study we have researched the relationship between person-organization fit and negative work attitude and behaviors of the employees within the organizational cynicism which is an important motivation factor for organizations. While enabling personorganization fit enhances positive outcome such as commitment, and job satisfaction, negative outcomes such as the intention to leave as a result of non-fit and burnout may also come into question. In addition to these variables which are common within the literature, in this study the negative relationship between person-organization fit and organizational cynicism has been addressed. The study has been carried out with the sample survey of 141 civil servants The findings have shown that there is a negative relationship between person-organization fit and organizational cynicism. In addition, according to the regression analysis results it has been concluded that person-organization fit is an important factor on organizational cynicism.
