Leylâ vü Mecnûn and Hüsn ü A?k, one of these masnavis, are masterpieces identified with the names of two important representatives of Classical Turkish literature. While both works are separated in terms of symbolic and allegorical narrative, they unite at the point of work’s success and wealth of content. The story of Mecnûn who took a journey from human love to divine love and the change, transformation and maturation of A?k in the way of reaching Hüsn is the core of the works. Love is an activity, not a passive feeling. One of the differences between these two masnavis is the heroes’ falling in love. In this study, the meeting of the heroes in both masnavis and their falling in love will be discussed comparatively
