Despite the fact that WWII has appeared to be out of Cyprus island, it is certainly evident that both Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots due to the economical and social problems during the fierce days of the war were affected a lot. The British government which classified the people living on the island as second-class people in the very beginning of the war started looking for the ways to enlist those above-mentioned people when faced with the lack of personnel in the fronts. Then a new military branch named Muleteers whose duty was to carry the logistics to the fronts via the mules appeared. The muleteers also were given assignments as the tailor, cook, telephone operators etc., but were directed to the very fronts when the war got worse and worse. This also brought the tragical end of those unfortunate Turkish Cypriots. This scientific study was prepared so as to get a profile glance at Turkish Cypriots who mostly lost their lives in the fronts or were taken as the POWs
