The language used in literary works, the most successful examples of the work must provide a written language. This works in the of vocabulary determination of the language specific aspects revealed in the language of the vocabulary item to determine, any new elements to teach the community's social, psychological, historical, linguistic identity, to determine will be effective. Vocabulary of the assessment for both authors and literary contributions of the structure for the presentation of these studies sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, semantics, morphology, functional linguistics, taking into account the data processing is provided. Vocabulary of the assessment should be aware of important linguistic studies, and linguistic field work required both for the individual national type inference for type inference should be given more space. Language in all work related to it should be, Vocabulary in the assessment should be based on a linguistic basis. However purpose of research, to say merely assess vocabulary items in folk tales compiled by Eflatun Cem Güney is error. Furthermore Guney is use succesfully expression ways of Turkish. As search of folk tales, different emotions represent with expression variety of Turkish. To achieve this aims, data collected through scanning method is studied from this aspects: Vocabulary items (idioms) in 70 folk tales included in 26 books published between 1947–1992 by Eflatun Cem Güney were studied. Data collected through scanning method used in the study and that includes a descriptive study on a fictional basis is classified through lexical field study. Besides search of tales, represent of “suffer, grieve; ignorance; shamelessness; falling in love; disapproval; arrogance; stubbornness; fear; longing; regret; delight; dislike; astonishment; shame; wakefulness; tiredness ” emotions in expression variety of Turkish.
