In this study, it was discussed the family vision in Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge taught as a compulsory course in all primary and secondary education?nstitutions in Turkey. In this context, firstly, it was given some basic information related to family. After that, it was examined why family is on the agenda of educational systems. Then, it was focused on treatment of the family and domestic relations of family in religious education courses. At the end of study, we have been identified that expression of the family is seen as one of the main objectives of these courses. In addition, we were understood that the family had conceived as the basic unit of society. We have also determined that it has targeted regulation of social relations by way of domestic relations of family. In line with these objectives, it was frequently cited religious references, particularly the Islamic ones. Thus, religious institutions have emerged for the Turkish education system as an authority for the verifier on the subject of family.
