THE EFFECT OF CHANGES IN 21TH CENTURY TURKISH FOREIGN POLICY ON TOURISM: AN EVALUATION ON TOURISTS FROM THE MIDDLE EAST

The aim of this study; to evaluate the changes in Turkish foreign policy in the Middle East From the 21st century and to determine the impacts on the number of tourists coming to Turkey. For this purpose, first of all, the changes in Turkish foreign policy in the 21st century are discussed. And then the political and diplomatic relations between the Middle East countries and Turkey were examined. At the beginning of the century Turkey have established close and friendly relations with the Middle Eastern countries. As a result of studies conducted by the qualitative research method, the number of tourists coming to Turkey from the Middle East, even though they sometimes fall from one year to cyclical reasons, were also found to be significantly increased. In this regard, active in the Turkish foreign policy, multilateral, in principle, so that the conduct of foreign policy led to changes in the number of tourists coming from the Middle East to Turkey and it was determined that the policies reflected in the positive way.
