The individual's thoughts about his body are influential on his feelings and his life. Body image is a serious struggle for every disabled woman. This also affect their life in many ways. “Body Image Scale” and “Life Satisfaction Scale” were used in the study conducted with 124 disabled women. Marital status, age, education level, occupation level, type of disability, degree of disability and reasons for disability were defined as explanatory variables. Education level and occupation level were found to be effective on body image perception and life satisfaction. In addition, there was a positive and weak relationship between body image perception and life satisfaction of disabled women. Social workers should incorporate the principles of the social development model into their interventions while maintaining the theoretical framework of the empowerment approach while working with disabled women at the micro level.
