?erh-i Bahâristân is one of two works written in Mehmed ?âkir's description style. The other is the explanation of Mevlana's Mesnevi. There is only one person who wrote complate description for Bahâristân before Mehmed ?âkir, who wrote many explanation is ?em?î. Mehmed ?âkir, while explaining Bahâristân sometimes gives very detailed information about the rhythms of Arabic poetry and Aruz of Arabic poetry. In this work, which is a successful study of methods and content, he sometimes criticizes ?em?î for his mistakes in explaining the Bahâristân. Sûdî and Lâmi?î did not write an explaining for Bahâristân, but in this work, they are sometimes criticized. In this study, the criticisms that Mehmed ?âkir has directed to ?em?î will be addressed from different perspectives and some classifications shall be made.
