Dhabt is the feature which is one of the qualification found in the narrator taking part with adalah can be accepted for narration. Dhabt means that the ability of Hadiths narration to the others by means of heard keeping in memorizing, complete and exact even though passes a long time. The unawareness concerned with the accusing of the narrator, kathrat al-ghalat (excessive number of mistakes), su'al-hifz (unreliable memory), wahm (acute uncertainty) and mukhalafat al-thiqat (contradicting with the highest authorities) are the defects for the dhabt. In this study is researched the considerations of Imam Muslim (d.261/875) concerning with that criticisms in his works especially which are named Al-Jami al-Sahih's Muqaddimah and Kitab al-Tamyiz. Also is tried to compare between Bukhari (d.256/870) and Muslim in the places related to narrator subject in review.
