Law rules have been necessary for centuries to enable people to live in society; every state has set a number of rules to provide for community regulation and has supported certain sanctions for compliance. Drinking is practically prohibited from the earliest times of Islam and discussed in detail in the doctrine of Islamic law. We will examine how classical Islamic law is reflected in practice in Uskudar society over the centuries of 16th century by means of the sherries registering the social, cultural and legal life of Ottoman society in article. We will compare the fetwa, relavent the subject in the records, with the court records in the 16th century
