Erzincan earthquake is one of the greatest earthquakes that the history has witnessed. The earthquake occurred with such great intensity that it led Anatolia, which was already in a ruined state in 1939, to a more worn-out condition. The intensity of the earthquake was so great that it showed its effect not only in Erzincan but also in a wider area. After such a great earthquake, national mourning was declared in the country. As a united heart, Turkey endeavored to bind the wounds of such a great earthquake.
To bind the wounds of the earthquake, not only Turkey but also does the whole world put their resources into use. England is among the countries which aided most.England acquired the necessary reports from the earthquake location by sending a representative and the representative sent them to his country so that the necessary assistance could be given. Afterwards England provided all kinds of the necessary assistance such as tent, blanket, food and medicine so that the wounds of the earthquake could be bound.
