THE ANALYSIS OF LIFE LONG LEARNING TENDENCIES OF TEACHERS IN TERMS OF SOME VERIABLES

Theaim of thisresearch is toanalysethe life-longlearningtendencies of teachers in terms of somevariables. Survey model has beenused in theresearch. Thepopulation of theresearchconsists of thepre-school, elementary, secondary, andhighschoolteachers in Mardin citycentre, whilethesamplecomprises of 1483 teacherswhohaveworked in Mardin citycentre in the 2015-2016 years of education. Thedatafortheresearchhavebeenobtainedfromthepersonaldetails forum which has beendevelopedbytheresearcherandfromthe “Scalefor Life-Long Learning Tendencies”, which has beendevelopedby Diker Co?kun (2009). Descriptivestatisticshavebeenusedso as todeterminethescores of teachers’ tendenciesrelatedto life-longlearning; andtofindoutifthesescorespresentmeaningfuldifferences in accordancewithvariables has beenused Mann Whitney U test in twoindependentcategories, andKruskal Wallis H test in threeormoreones, forthegroupsdid not present normal distribution. The result of the study indicated that life-longlearningtendencies of theteachersare of highlevel.
