THE 2nd CONSTITUTIONAL PERIOD AND THE NEWSPAPER OF VOLKAN WITHIN THE CONCEPT OF ISLAMISM

In this article, a sociological analysis, initially, has been conducted with regard to the historical background of our political and ideological movements which underwent into a maturity period in parallel with the periods in which the efforts towards westernization across the Ottoman Empire were noticed. Based on the opinions we reached within this concept, a frame with regard to the basic orientations of the newspaper of Volkan, which started its publication life in the conditions in which the 2nd Constitutionalism was declared within the concept of ?slamism which we can define as a political and ideological movement, was tried to form. Performing these evaluations, the ongoing disputes concerning the newspaper of Volkan and Dervi? Vahdeti were not favoured, and the basic lines of the ideological substructure of the newspaper by applying to the translation from the original and full text were objectively tried to exhibit. As a whole, the study which we have conducted is aimed to shed lights on the sources of our political and ideological movements.
