TEACHERS’ TECHNOPEDAGOGICAL EDUCATION COMPETENCIES COMPUTER RELATED SELFEFFICACIES AND VIEWS ON THE FATİH PROJECT

The aim of this study is to determine the technopedagogical education competencies, computer related self-efficacy and views on the FAT?H Project of the teachers working in the high schools. The study group of the research consists of 190 teachers working in the high schools in the district of Yeni?ehir in Mersin in the 2014-2015 educational year. As a result of the research, it was found that the technopedagogical education competencies of teachers were at a medium. No significant difference was found between gender on seniority of teachers and competency level towards technopedagogical education and self-efficacy perceptions on computer. According to the teachers' opinions; effective teaching, deeper knowledge and application, rapid access to information, efficient use of time, material diversity and student-centered education are positive aspects of the FAT?H Project in terms of learning-teaching process.
