The aim of this research is to establish a framework for sustainable tourism which is an accepted approach all over the world by revealing the interaction between tourism and environment. Besides the determination of the environmental policies in Turkey constitutes another object of the research. In this context, secondary data was used to make an evaluation. Research within the scope of the concept of sustainability and environmental policy in the past to the present, Turkey has tried to be transferred to and analyzed systematically. As a result, before the republic in Turkey, it not even before the creation of adequate environmental policy but planned period of 2023 tourism strategy today especially has seen the adoption of the sustainability approach in all.
