Author(s): Musa KAVAL

Sayyid Mir Hamza Nigârî is a sufi poet. One of the most frequently used channels in the transfer of emotion and inspiration is the poetry. Sayyid Mir Hamza Nigârî has achieved the harmony of visible-unvisible jihad with divine love, resident and hicret. Sayyid Mir Hamza Nigârî who reflects his spiritual course to his divan, mentioned the sufis with whom he had same notions. He refered to Ibrahim Ethem's ascetism, the Bayezid-i Bistami's shathaats, Hallac-i Mansur’s execution, Bahaeddin Naqshiband. Sayyid Mir Hamza Nigârî, observing the harmony of the Shariah-tariqah, expresses his love for the Ahl al-Bayt on all occasions. It is possible to see his poetry as tarnsfiguraiton of Vahdet's poetry in which all differences are combined in oneness. The Sufis, which he mentions in his poems reflecting his stuation and inspiration, are important figures of the sufi tradition. His poems, which he tried to explain his own situation and inspirations on them, became a sign of humankind's character of picker. In this study, it was aimed at contributing his sufistic situation and inspiration by the help of sufis he mentioned in his poets in order to be understood.
