Through scientific, political, cultural and commercial relations in the field of language, interactions occur. These interactions resulted in the exchange of words, sentences, and sometimes phrases between languages, while some grammatical structures were also altered. Recently, the ability of socially diverse languages to be spoken by people, with the addition of one language structure to another, has begun to become an area of scientific interest in linguistic contact relation. Research on language interaction has become an integral part of linguistics thanks to the reflection of socioeconomic differences between the two interacted language groups and especially recent social and political changes. As the studies intensified, interest in contact linguistics increased as a result of the investigation of how the interactional relationships between languages are reflected in people's languages and how they use languages and why they use them differently? Some researchers consider this field to be with in sociolinguistics, while some researchers consider it a separate field of linguistics. Infact, even if these two intertwined fields are together and seem like a separate branch of linguistics, it is important that they address important issues that need to be examined in terms of social interaction. In this respect, we will try to clarify the information and differences in this area in this article.
