SOCIAL MEDIA USAGE HABITS OF TRABZONSPOR FAN AND LIFE SATISFACTION: TRABZON EXAMPLE

One of the most important tools of the new media is social media. Social media spreads to other fields such as art, culture, politics and sports today. Thanks to social media, fans of many sports clubs learn about their teams and competitors, and share images and photos on their personal social media page. Life satisfaction levels of social media users, who sometimes produce and distribute their own content, can affect their use of social media. This research was carried out to reveal the social media usage habits and life satisfaction level of football club fans. 591 Trabzonspor supporters participated in the study where the field research method was used. Research results; It was found that the level of life and happiness of the fans was close to mid-high. There is a significant relationship between the happiness level of the fans and the level of importance given to Trabzonpor. As the level of importance given to Trabzonspor increases, happiness levels also increase
