Abstract

Presence, protection and development of forests are important for climate change, which is an important environmental problem of our time. The protection and development of forests may be possible by examining the forests in detail both geographically and ecologically with the human sensitivity of each individual. In this study, the slope and aspect conditions of the areas where the dominant tree associations of the Kazda?? forests are located were determined, and the slope ranges and aspect preferences of the dominant tree species were evaluated. The presence of Kazda?? tree associations obtained through digital forest management plans were analyzed spatially after a series of queries and classification procedures in Geographical Information Systems. On the other hand, all populations of trees with pure scattering in Kazda?? were evaluated separately as pure scattered species areas. The results of the analysis were graphically evaluated. In Kazda?? forests, slope values of predominantly 12-20% and 20-30% have been determined, although there are more or less differences between the populations and association areas. Significant differences in preferences were obtained in the results of aspect
