As a meticulous critic, Seyid Hussein opposes prejudice and criticism with a hostile attitude when evaluating works. As the development line of Contemporary Azerbaijani storytelling is examined, it is seen that Seyid Hussein has a unique place. The author's stories, starting from the end of the 1920s and seeing the face of the printing press until the mid-1930s, bring a voice in the Azerbaijani literary world. His works, which still retain their value today, are instrumental in the commemoration of Seyid Hussein as the “story master” in the country. A total of 13 people from Seyid Hussein's family, including his wife, Azerbaijani independence poet Ummugulsum Sadiqzadeh, were victims of red resentment and died by being shot.
