SEEKING A NEW MODEL IN PRE-SCHOOL VALUES EDUCATION: BOGAZICI EDUCATION MODEL

The increasing importance given to the education of morality and values throughout the world has brought religious practices to a religious interpretation of these developments and started to practice different practices which can be evaluated within the scope of religious education as well as moral education. Some of the pre-school education institutions include religious, moral and values education in their programs in different ways due to the recognition of the importance of religion, morality and values education in pre-school period. For this reason, pre-school education institutions have started to use Montessori, Regio Emilia, High Scope and Waldorf and similar approaches in pre-school moral and values education as well as pre-school education. In this study, Montessori, Regio Emilia, High Scope, Waldorf, multiple intelligence, etc. methods modeled moral preschool in Turkey and values that confer a new perspective to education "Bo?aziçi Educational Services" is discussed. This study consists of three main parts. In the first chapter, the historical development of pre-school education and the educational models applied will be tried. In the second part, the importance of the pre-school values education will be emphasized. In the third section, the examples of application of pre-school values education in Bo?aziçi Education Model will be given.
