Abstract

Author(s): Seçil UTMA

In recent years, in parallel with progress in scientific and technical fields, there is also an increase in science news in the media. However, the contents related to science in the media, especially in television, take place with magazines, interesting and exaggerated aspects, which brings up the question of quality in the news. In this context, our study of science journalism, science communication and how we should correctly interpret scientific news in the media aims to examine science journalism on the basis of social responsibility theory.
