Descriptive verbs in Kyrgyz Turkish and Turkey Turkish consist of a main verb with gerund and descriptive verbs complementing it in various ways (ko?uver-, baka kal-, yapabil-, dü?e yaz-; okup cür-, ayt?p koy-, etc.). Meaning in such kind of compound structures is on the main verb with gerund. In another word, the main verb with gerund keeps the meaning. In our study which focuses on the descriptive verb “sat?p al-”, the meaning of the main verb and descriptive verb is as if they intertwined with each other. Even the main meaning is found to be on the descriptive verb. Such use is considered remarkable due to the fact that it is contrary to the use of the descriptive compound verb.
