In this study, Russia-China relations, especially in the process of establishment and development of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) are examined from historical perspective. The relations of these states that have common point of view during the establishment process of SCO in terms of standing against unipolar world turned into alliance under this organization. Good relations that have developed through this alliance led to negligence of some problems between Russia and China. However, as it can be seen in our study, there are serious problems, differences and disagreements between these states. These problems and their main characteristics will be particularly stressed in this study.
